The STELA project focuses on the research and development of intelligent manufacturing solutions based on laser technology for sub-millimetre-level material processing. The main objective is to develop an advanced system that leverages laser technology as a high-precision manufacturing tool, validating its use in three highly relevant industrial sectors: automotive, water treatment, and the food industry.
We would like to explicitly thank the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) for its support and funding, as well as the Ministry of Science and Innovation, within the framework of the CDTI Missions programme, which makes this strategic technological mission possible.
The STELA project (MIG-20221029) brings together leading companies and technology centres. Together with AZUD, the consortium includes:
- IZERTIS
- MACSA ID
- EXOM Engineering
- FYLA LÁSER
- MAIER
We also extend our gratitude to the collaborating subcontracted centres:
- TEKNIKER
- Centre for Soil Science and Applied Biology of the Segura – CEBAS-CSIC
- Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
Thanks to the contribution of all participating entities, STELA is advancing towards new laser-based manufacturing capabilities that will strengthen competitiveness and innovation across key industrial sectors.
